Iran-Bosnia joint production 'To Be Far' has won the Jury Award for Best Documentary Film at the 15th Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (BHFF).

Directed by Samira Kameli and Sajra Subašić, 'To Be Far' shows the filmmakers' attempt to document a refugee center in Bosnia.

Denied entry, they instead film the center from afar, reflecting upon the lives of its residents, the services provided to them, and the painful circumstances that brought them to this place.

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival is an annual event launched in 2003 and held in New York. This festival showcases the best of the Bosnian cinematography.

In addition to screening the Bosnian films, the festival includes movies by other producers and directors that deal with historical, socio-political and cultural issues of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 2018 BHFF took place in New York City in April 2018.
